Thank You Carrabbas Research Blvd.

Latinitas sends a special thank you to Restaurant Manager Larry Delgado and his staff at Carrabbas Italian Grill (11590 Research Blvd.) for hosting Latinitas' Advisory Board (Las Consejeras) informational in August.

Las Consejera(o) s are professional women and men in Austin who support Latinitas by offering professional expertise, networking abilities, financial assistance and other avenues to grow Latinitas publication reach and programming.

This was not the first time this Carrabbas Italian Grill provided space and other provisions for Latinitas Magazine and Outreach and we are grateful for their continued support of our mission.

Congratulations Alicia

On August 12th, Latinitas founder Alicia Rascon married her long-time boyfriend Del Humberson in El Paso, Texas among friends, family and Latinitas! The two honeymooned in Costa Rica, where Alicia put new scuba-diving training to great use snorkeling and exploring the reef. Del is currently a graduate student in Geography at Texas State University. He has volunteered at past Latinitas events contributing IT support and just plain muscle! Everyone at Latinitas wishes the two lots of love and lots of years together.
